Uluru Kata Tjuta shop Uluru Kate Tjuta building

ULURU KATA TJUTA cultural centre, designed by Gregory Burgess Architects, which is situated at the base of Uluru (formerly named Ayres Rock), Northern Territory, Australia , was opened in October 1995.
Sues Spicer of Richmond Lighting in Melbourne selected the NEOZ Lightrail™ system to illuminate the main exhibition and retail areas.

The Rail was formed to follow the meandering shape of the interior space and was wire suspended to create a near invisible support. Fully adjustable “Gecko“ halogen spots provided illumination for artworks.

This Lightrail™ installation was given an award of excellence from the Illuminating Engineering Society of Australia and New Zealand.
