Dating back to the 16th Century, The Lygon Arms located in the village of Boardway within the Cotswolds is one of the oldest coaching inns in the UK. From hosting Oliver Cromwell before the Battles of Worcester in 1651 to receiving King Edward VII and screen icon Elizabeth Taylor, The Lygon Arms is a hotel steeped in history and architectural significance as reflected by its heritage Grade I listed.

The full refurbishment of the hotel began 2 years ago with the redesign of the guest rooms and suites, spa as well as The Lygon Bar & Grill by interior designer Anita Rosato.

The restaurant situated within the great hall with its period features such as the wood paneling, plaster scallop along with the fireplace has all been retained, whilst a few modern touch has been added to enhance the space.

It is here where you will find our Cooee 1c Bronze rechargeable wireless lamp on every table. The compact size and subtle colour of the lamp work especially well with the white marble table and the Tudor period decor.
