NEOZ Cordless Lamps in Australia’s First 6 Star Hotel
Crown Sydney is a new hotel experience in Barangaroo, and the first of its kind to receive 6 stars on all of the culinary experiences within its walls. Working with the award-winning lighting design consultancy FPOV, we are honoured to reveal that our bespoke lighting designs are featured in 10 out of 14 of the restaurants within this luxury establishment – bringing food, people and places together.
Inspired by old-school Italian palazzi interiors and the nostalgic romance of dining out. Acclaimed chef and restaurateur Alessandro Pavoni strives to make a’Mare the best classical Italian dining experience in Sydney. Meaning ‘by the sea’, a’Mare features local seafood on its ever-changing menu. Throughout a’Mare, you can find our Cooee 2C lamp in ‘Lacquered Real Brass’ atop of each table.
After establishing itself exclusively with crown Perth and crown Melbourne, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that Nobu, by renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa, has found yet another home for itself in crown Sydney. Nobu offers sublime Japanese cuisine, with emphasis on showcasing Sydney’s local produce. Additionally, Nobu at crown Sydney will feature ‘Yoshii’s Omakase’ – an exclusive omakase experience from renowned omakase sushi master Ryuichi Yoshii, for a limited time. Within the interiors of Nobu, you can find the Owl 1 lamp in ‘Real Copper’. Note: Nobu now use the Tall Poppy lamp in ‘Satin Black’ instead of the Owl 1.
Woodcut, by the award-winning couple, chef Ross Lusted & Sunny Lusted, offers an exquisite dining experience, with a menu cooked to perfection with wood, charcoal and steam. Creating food in this fashion gives an earthy flavour that simply cannot be achieved through modern cooking and will awaken memories of meals cooked over an open fire – there is nothing quite like it. Inside the restaurant, our Tall Poppy lamp in ‘Satin Black’ compliments the rustic-yet-modern interior that Woodcut has opted for.
Silks is a unique dining experience, which combines Chinese traditional cuisine and culture, with the bold uniqueness of Australian landscapes such as the Blue Mountains, within its interior design. Whilst enjoying their exquisite Cantonese delicacies, you can also enjoy the warm light from our Tall Poppy lamps in ‘Satin Brass’.
Epicurean is an open-kitchen buffet experience, with an array of flavours from a variety of cuisines. Everything on the menu is created in house, from the finest ingredients. The restaurant has 9 open-kitchens for diners to watch as food is prepared, with a chocolate fountain to look forward to when it comes to dessert. Our Cooee 2C lamp in ‘Lacquered Real Brass’ can be seen on tables in Epicurean.
TWR is a sophisticated bar that offers a selection of opulent drinks to enjoy within it’s moody piano bar-esque interior. On top of drinks, they also offer a refined bar menu consisting of items such as ‘Marinated Toolunka Creek Olives’ and ‘Candied Walnuts & Murray River Salt’. Right in the centre is a marble countertop bar, acting as both a place to order but also as a lavish centrepiece. When visiting this bar, keep an eye out for our Cooee 2C lamps in ‘Anodised Silver’.
In addition to these establishments currently open for business, keep an eye on our NEOZ cordless lamps in more restaurants in the Crown Sydney coming soon.
